Mackenzie Watts is a graduate student in Marriage and Family Therapy and serves as a case manager and group facilitator. With over a decade in recovery herself, Mackenzie brings both professional training and lived experience to her work with individuals and families navigating mental health and substance use challenges.
She has facilitated a wide range of therapy groups that integrate DBT and CBT skills, mindfulness, stress management, and relational growth. Mackenzie is passionate about helping clients build accountability, strengthen communication, and create meaningful rituals that support long-term recovery. She values using interactive and creative approaches, such as guided discussions, skill-building activities, and experiential exercises, to make therapy accessible and engaging.
Beyond her clinical work, Mackenzie hopes to continue to work in treatment spaces in the future to provide affordable counseling and resources for her community. She is committed to ongoing personal and professional growth and believes therapy should be both evidence-based and rooted in compassion.
